Southern California Dachshund Rescue
Besides my fanatical interest in collecting SAE components, my
most rewarding joy in life is fostering homeless dachshunds for Southern
California Dachshund Rescue (www.delgadog.com)
until they get their own "forever" home. Besides my spoiled rotten crew
of five dachshunds, I usually foster two to three dogs in various stages
of rehabilitation. From recuperating from injuries or illness, learning
new social skills or finally getting to see that not all people are bad,
they stay with me until they are healthy physically or mentally ready
for adoption. Most of the time the dachshunds I foster are really good
dogs in the wrong place at the wrong time and just need a second chance.
